Abstract

PURPOSE:To send out papers one by separately for sure by providing detection means at the entrance part of a tray and a just advanced position from a nip part of a feeding roller and a separating roller. CONSTITUTION:Detecting means such as photo-sensors 9, 11 and the like are provided at the entrance part of a tray 1 and a just advanced position from a nip part of a feeding roller 2 and a separating roller 3 for constructing a paper- feeding device of a duplicating machine. The first paper is stopped as its top is advanced to the feeding direction from the nip of the feeding roller 2 and the separating roller 3, and succeeding papers are separated by the separating roller 3 for sure. This construction permits to prevent double feeding caused by the deformed accumulation in the tray.
