Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the closure control of a time-division network, during audible signal transmission, by providing a time slot, having an inserted audible signal all the time, on a time slot between a time-division network and a digital line concentration switch. CONSTITUTION:A digital line concentration switch 5 is inserted between a time- division network 4 and a subscriber circuit 2, and controlled by a central controller 6 and a terminal system controller 7. An audible tone signal inserting device 8 is provided between the time-division network 4 and digital line concentration switch 3 and on the time slot of a pulse-code-modulated signal, a time slot different from the time slot of a call signal is provided to insert an audible signal from the audible signal generator 5. Consequently, the need for the closure control of the time-division network for the transmission of the audible signal is eliminated to perform the transmitting and stopping operation of the audible signal by the terminal system controller 7.
