Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a continuous sheet of paper from being wrinkled, and torn by correcting the zigzagging of the sheet by applying pressure between rotary members, which sandwich and convey the continuous sheet, by two press-contacting means controlled independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:A holding plate 14 is so controlled that it has positions where a plate 20 shields a sensor 21, i.e., press-contacting positions of both rollers 1 and 2, and positions where the plate 20 shields a sensor 22, i.e., two reset positions; and the holding plate 14 is pressed up by being driven by a motor 18 to apply nearly uniform press-contacting force axially between both the rollers 1 and 2. Further, left and right rotary solenoids 25a and 25b apply uneven left and right press-contacting forces in accordance with the position shift of a form 5 independently, thus correcting the position shift of the form 5.
