Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve hot-water feed property and safety, by constituting a device such that a source to ignite a pilot flame is caused to continue to burn and a condition to complete a prepurge is maintained for a given period at a time when a water current switch of an instantaneous hot-water heater with prepurge function turns OFF, and the condition is displayed by lighting in a unique color. CONSTITUTION:With a water current switch 7 turned OFF based on a condition to feed hot water, a timer circuit 22 operates to keep a transistor 9 in a turning- ON state for one minute. Thus, for said period, a relay 12 is kept in an ON- state, and a prepurge circuit in an IC combustion control circuit 21 is kept in a condition at a time when times up. As a result, if the water current switch 7 is brought to ON for said period, a main valve 42 is opened through resetting of the timer circuit 22 and turning-ON of a relay 32 via an airflow switch 52 to perform an ignition immediately. An LED 65a is then lighted ON via flame rod 53 for a source to make a fire and a flame detecting circuit 13. This prevents hot water to be supplied again a short time later from being reduced in temperature and permits the improvement of safety.
