CONSTITUTION:A shutter operation part 1 as a remote control member has a shutter button 5 and a light generating element, and this shutter operation part 1 is attached and detached to and from a camera 4 with a light generating element 3 facing to a photodetector of the camera 4. Consequently, the shutter operation part 1 functions as a normal shutter operation part when it is attached to the camera, and the shutter operation part 1 functions as a remote control member when it is detached from the camera, and thus, a self timer is omitted. An ultrasonic radiator and an ultrasonic receiver may be provided instead of the light generating element 3 and the photodetector 2.
