Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the water leakage test of a stator for a generator by equalizing the mounting side of the stator on a turbine casing to the mounting side of the stator on a cone. CONSTITUTION:The mounting size of the stator 22 of a generator 20 for a cylindrical water turbine is equalized to that of the stator on a cone 21. Thus, when the water leakage test of the stator 22 is executed, the cones 21 are connected to both ends of the stator 22, and test covers 21C are mounted on the holes 21B formed at the respective cones 21, thereby sealing the stator 22. In this manner, the water leakage test can be performed.
