PURPOSE:To retain suitably the oil levels in both compressors under all operation conditions, by positively returning oil to one of the compressors while supplying oil through an oil tank, and a valve communicative only with the other. CONSTITUTION:A check valve 4 for stopping the flow of a gas and a lubricant from the first compressor 1 to the second compressor 2 is provided in the intermediate of a pressure and oil equalizing pipe 3, and the oil tank 5 is situated between the check valve 4 and the compressor 1. When both the compressors 1, 2 are in operation, or only the first compressor 1 is in operation, since the pressure in a first compression element chamber 1d becomes lower than that of a second compression element chamber 2d, the amount of the oil in the first compression element chamber 1d tends to increase more than necessary, but since the corresponding amount of oil can be stored in the tank 6, the amount of oil therein can be suitably retained. If only the second compressor 2 is in operation, the flow from the first compressor to the second compressor 2 can be prevented by the check valve 4, and therefore the oil level can be retained to normal.
