Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce simultaneously a pair of members to be engaged each other by following method in which a relatively long part is formed between the fixed point of a second member to a base plate and the engaging point of the second member to a first member and a gap is prepared between said members, and the after both parts are simultaneously formed, both parts are caused to be engaged each other by contraction of the second member. CONSTITUTION:A first member 1 is made of synthetic resin and its shaft part 1b is capable of rotation and movement on a base plate 3 such as a lever for changing frequency. A second member 2 has legs 2c sufficiently long compared with the length of the member 1 and is made of synthetic resin. A gap 4 corresponding to the thickness of mold is arranged between the contact point 1a of the member 1 and the contact point 2a of the member 2. In this condition, the members 1 and 2 are simultaneously formed on the base plate 3 by an outsert forming process, and thereafter, elastic contact is obtained between the contact point 2a of the member 2 and the contact point 1a of the member 1 by contraction of the member 2. Consequently, both members may be caused to be engaged each other without looseness between said member and any treatment after forming is unnecessary.
