Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to install the device compactly utilizing the wall surface facing south of a building and as well as enhance the heat collecting efficiency in winter by a constitution wherein a heat collecting vessel is arranged verticall and a lid directing the reflected ray of the sun to the heat collecting vessel is provided. CONSTITUTION:A hot box 1, in which the heat collecting vessel 5 is vertically housed and arranged, is mounted at the upper part of a window 4 provided at the wall surface 3 facing south of the building. Said hot box 1 is embeddedly mounted so that the upper transparent plate 6 of the hot box 1 is flush with a wall surface 3. The hot box lid 8 is mounted so as to open or close on hinges 7 fitted on the wall surface at the lower part of the hot box 1. The hot box lid 8 is so constituted that its surface (which is opposite to the upper transparent plate 6 of the hot box 1 when the lid 8 is closed) is pasted with a lustrous reflecting plate 9, at the back of which heat insulating material 10 is packed.
