CONSTITUTION:When the cranking boltage of a battery B is shown by Ec, an engine can be certainly started if Ec>E1 is satisfied, and E1>=Ec>=E2 is applicable immediately before the engine-start becomes impossible, and when the engine is completely impossible to start, if E2>Ec is applied. When a switch 6 is turned ON with Ec>E1, transistors Q1 and Q2 are set ON, and condensers C1 and C2 are not charged, and Q3 and Q4 are set in OFF-state. While, the contact 7 of a choke relay is turned ON at this time, and diodes D4 and D5 are OFF, and Q6 is set OFF, and Q7 is set ON. Therefore, Q8 is set ON, and a green-colour lamp 5 lights up, showing that a yellow lamp 2 and a red lamp 3 which come on when E1>=Ec>=E2, and E2>Ec, are applicable respectively, are not broken.
