Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the sliding face of the conductor from frosting and freeze, improve heat collecting characteristic, and make it applicable even in the environment which has large changes in temperature in such a way that a conductor is covered by means of an insulating sheath, and heater wire is embedded. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 1 is embedded all over the length in an insulating sheath 3 by exposing only the sliding face 2 of the conductor at the lower part of the conductor which is a quasi-I type in its section. Then, the upper part of the insulating sheath 3 is protruded upward, and heater wire 4 is embedded all over the length at its protruded part 5. Legs 6 are provided on both sides of the lower part of the insulating sheath 3. With use of this insulated trolley wire equipped with the heater wire 4, frosting and freeze on the sliding face 2 of the conductor can be removed, and current collection can be done efficiently. Besides, even if it is in an environment in which temperature changes are large, temperature difference of the insulated trolley wire can be diminished and also expansion and contraction under heat can be minimized by controlling the current on the heater wire 4.
