Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable miniaturize and lighten a device, by forming a transformer and buzzer into an electromagnetically monolithical unity. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil 2, a heater coil 3, and a primary compensating coil 5 are connected in series to a power source 10. Then, a main magnetic flux emanates in a main magnetic circuit 1, a sensor 8 is heated, and simultaneously, voltages of a secondary coil 4 and a primary compensating coil 5 are applied to the opposite ends of the sensor 8. If, with this, gas is detected, the opposite ends of the sensor 8 are sharply reduced in impedance, the secondary coil 4 and the primary compensating coil 5 are brought to a short-circuit condition to increase a main magnetic flux. A magnetic flux 9, which is a vector sum of a main magnetic flux, generated by said increase and a short-circuit current, and a magnetic flux in a reverse direction, flows to a vibrating plate 6 which rumbles to sound a gas alarm.
