Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of dangerous condition such as covitation etc, by comparing the intake pressure of a variable ejection pump with the critical pressure, and controlling the output flow in response to the observed difference.
CONSTITUTION: In an intake duct 8 of variable ejection pump 5, is provided a pressure sensor 21 which shall be connected to No.2 computer 20 receiving an assigned value tC, which has been set in relation to be critical pressure liable to cause such a dangerous condition as cavitation etc. The intake pressure is compared with the set value tC and the inclination angle of the rotation of variable ejection pump 5 and number of revolution of engine 9 are controlled on the basis of the observed difference. This constitution can provide such convenience as preventing destruction of a pump due to cavitation and/or any damage on the strainer even though operation is carried on in a low temperature and/or in a severe condition with the clogged strainer.
