Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop a position signal at every half cycle by varying the polarity of a stop signal in response to the addresses for the start and object of a motor when driving a motor under a digital control and stopping it under an analog control. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a transducer 3 of a motor 2 which positions the rotation of a typewheel or the like is inputted to an inverting differentiating circuit 5, an adder 9 and a count pulse generator 6, and is switched to digital at the time of driving the motor 2 and to analog at the stopping time by a switching circuit 10 through a control circuit 7. A switching circuit 13 and an inverter 15 are added between the adder 9 and the circuit 10 to input a switch signal S7 from the circuit 7 in response to the start address or object address of the motor 2 to generate a stop signal S5. Accordingly, the motor 2 can be accurately stopped to an arbitrary address at every half cycle by varying the polarity of the stop signal under the analog control.
