Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily set the voltage of an X-ray tube to the predetermined value by a method wherein a supply voltage drop peculiar to an unloaded and loaded impedance regulating resistance is stored beforehand, and impedance matching is carried out on the basis of the stored value. CONSTITUTION:When an X-ray apparatus is installed at a place where a supply source 12 including supply source impedance Z1 is provided, the input of an unloaded supply source voltage is applied after a switch SW1 has been turned on and then a switch SW2 for radiating X-rays is turned on in order to input a loaded supply voltage to a computer 7 via a digital converter 5 to detect a supply source voltage drop. The computer compares the proper supply source voltage drop called from a memory 8 and the voltage drop at the place where the apparatus has been installed. If both the drops are not equal, the computer will allow a motor driving circuit 11 to generate a driving signal via an I/O device 6 to drive a servomotor, so that an impedance regulating resistor R1 is automatically controlled.
