Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an output frequency of a failure retrieval current oscillator, by keeping an output signal of a failure retrieval current oscillator in accordance with a specific code assigned at each repeater. CONSTITUTION:Relays 1-3 are inserted to a relay transmission line, and a signal transmitted to a transmission line is amplified and relayed. Failure retrieval current oscillators 4-5 are connected to the input to the relays 1-3 via respectively encoding circuits 7-9. Detection circuits 10-12 are connected to the output of each relay, the circuits 10-12 receive a signal in frequency f1, and discriminates a code from a relay immediately before the signal. When the circuits 10-12 outputs a discriminating signal, the circuits 7-9 are started and the code of itself is transmitted. Thus, a code in frequency f1 is transmitted in the order of a relay at the beginning of a relay transmission line, a terminal station at the reception side selects and receives for discrimination.
