Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic charged image developing agent which is enabled to form a high quality visible image with high concentration and less photographic fog by mixing specific two kinds of magnetic toners having different contents of magnetic substance powder. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of magnetic toners consisting of the magnetic substance powder (e.g. magnetic fine powder having <=1mu particle diameter) and thermoplastic resins (e.g. styrenic polymer having about 3.5-4 weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight and about 60-200 deg.C of flex temp. and 30-150 deg.C of glass transition temp.) and having an equal average particle diameter within a range of about 5-30mu and >=10<10>OMEGAcm volume resistivity, are used. Namely the following two toners (A) and (B) which meet the above mentioned qualifications are mixed at the ratio of 1:4-4:1; (A) the first magnetic toners containing >=30wt% magnetic substance powder and (B) the second magnetic toner containing >=10wt% magnetic substance powder more than the first magnetic toners.
