CONSTITUTION:Adhesives 3 are coated on the rear surface of a fitting part 12 of a detaining piece 1 made of a polycarbonate resin, and the projections 13 of the piece 1 are inserted and adhered tightly into the through-holes 21 of a measuring tape 2, after which the leading end parts of the projections 13 are deformed to a rivet head shape by means of an ultrasonic welder. Thereby, workability and productivity are improved.
