Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency through reutilization of discharged water from the air tank by coupling the suction side of a pressure tank to the same side of a pump through an automatic valve and by furnishing a jet pump utilizing that flow at the lower part of the air tank for the purpose of suction or supply of air. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic valve 16 is opened, high pressure water from a pressure tank 5 flows through the driving inflow side 17b of a jet pump 17 to attract the water in the air tank 8 from the suction side 17a with the aid of high speed jet flow, whereby an air intake valve 11 is opened and the air is led into the air tank 8. The water which has passed through the jet pump 17 is fed back to the suction 1a or discharge 1b ports of the pump 1. When the automatic valve 16 is then closed, high pressure water in the pressure tank 5 flows into the air tank 8 from the suction port 17a of the jet pump 17. The air in the air tank 8 is intruded into the pressure tank 5 by this inflowing pressure water through a check valve 9.
