Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful use of electric power in a stop light illuminating device of a tractor or the like by not illuminating the light by the operation of a parking brake operating device but illuminating by operation of at least either one of the left or right brake pedals. CONSTITUTION:Left and right brake pedals 1 and 2 which are provided in parallel are made operatable by a parking brake operating device 12 via a press- down member 15, a brake switch 18 being installed on a parking brake lever arm 14 having a long groove 14b slidingly engaged with a pin 16 of the press- down member 15 to have a stop light illuminated by step on operation of at least either one of left or right brake pedals but not by operation of the parking brake operating device 12. When parking with the use of the parking brake operating device 12 only a parking light having small capacity will be illuminated.
