Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the fluidized layer catalyst with high activity good in a flowing state by a method wherein the deactivated catalyst containing molybdenum is crushed and, after crushing, the crushed catalyst is subjected to heat treatment in a reductive gas and fired in a molecular oxygen containing gas to be reactivated and the particle size thereof is adjusted.
CONSTITUTION: The deactivated catalyst which is used in reaction and of which activity is lowered is crushed at first into a particle size of 5W150μ and, after crushing, the crushed catalyst is subjected to heat treatment at 200W700°C in a reductive gas atmosphere and further fired in a molecular oxygen containing gas atmosphere to obtain the reactivated catalyst. After this treatment, particle size distrubution of the reactivated catalyst is adjusted in such a manner that 20W50wt% thereof is 44μ or less and 90wt% or more is 5W150μ to obtain the fluidized layer catalyst. By this method, loss of the catalyst is prevented and, by particle size adjustment after recovery and reactivation, the fluidized layer catalyst showing a good flowing state is obtained.
