Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate accurate loading by preventing a record disk from slanting by reducing an interval between the record disk and a base in slinghtly elevating a spindle, which holds the recodrd disk at its center hole, during the carriage of the record disk. CONSTITUTION:When a record disk is inserted into a slit, a driving roller 7 is lowered to sandwich the record disk with a driven roller 2, thereby drawing it. The record disk is carried to a centering position and stops, a driving guide 65 moves, and a base 81 is lowered along the grooves of a guide plate; and a spindle 89 is lowered and once it is fitted in the center hole of the record disk, a holder 93 projects to hold the record disk. The driving roller 7 is elevated and the spindle 89 is elevated slightly and moved back to a truntable position to lower the record disk on a turntable, thus starting automatic play. After the play, the record disk is ejected from the slit in the reverse process exactly.
