Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply evacuate the inside of molds without the need for the installation of a special vent boat by fixing a frame closely and touchingly attached to a movable die plate to the drive shaft of a linear actuator. CONSTITUTION:A movable die plate 24 is advanced by the action of a mold clamper, and a movable mold 20 is stopped at a position at which it is not completely clamped with a fixed mold by the action of a limit switch 52 in such a way as to leave a slight aperture. Then, four cylinders 42 are concurrently driven to extend a bellows 34 toward the aaxial direction, and a frame 36 is closely touched with a mold fitting plate 22 on the die plate 24 side. The molds 12 and 20 are confined in an encolsed space formed by the bellows 34, and the air of the bellows 34 is sucked up through an air suction port 58 by the action of the limit switch 48 to obtain a given vacuum degree. The vacuum is detected by a vacuum meter 64, the molds 12 and 20 are completely clamped, and a molten resin is injected into the cavity of the molds through a needle nozzle 62 to obtain a molding.
