Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a solid lemon pop candy having enhanced nice refreshing feeling, by using glucose or glucose and a powdered sugaralcohol as main raw materials.
CONSTITUTION: Glucose or glucose and sugaralcohol as main raw materials are fully kneaded with a starch, e.g. corn starch, gum arabic, a fruit juice, an organic acid, e.g. citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate in the order. The resultant uniform material mixture is then granulated in a granulator to give granules having a diameter of 1.3mm, which are then mixed with small amounts of a perfume and a coloring agent, molded into a solid material having a diameter of about 13mm and a thickness of about 6mm by a tablet machine, and further dried to afford the aimed product.
