Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of feeding job and as well as improve the lubricating ability to the bearing by a method wherein grease is fed from the inner surface side of inner races by means of a grease injector into a grease pocket formed between the inner surface of an outer race with double rows and the outer surfaces of the inner races of the separate inner race type double row bearing. CONSTITUTION:A fixed amount of lubricating grease is fed through the gap of the adjoining and opposing fronts 8 and 9 of the inner races 3 and 4 from the inner surface sides 21 and 22 of the inner races 3 and 4 by means of the grease injector 20 into the grease pocket 13 formed between the inner surface of the outer race with double rows 2 and the outer surfaces of the inner races 3 and 4 of the separate inner race type double row bearing having one outer race with double rows 2 and two inner races 3 and 4. The possibility of completion of feeding of lubricating grease with one shot of the grease injector brings the improvement of the efficiency of feeding job and as well as results in preventing the lubricating grease within the grease pocket 13 from being maldistributed.
