Abstract

PURPOSE:To faciliate the positive provision of surface vibration, axial vibration and concentricity within a referece accuracy by a method wherein a rotor body is integrally formed by a rotor base material, then non-magnetic ring is heated and adhered to the rotor and they are cut to a desired shape. CONSTITUTION:Rotor base material is placed on a die 11, plastically deformed under a pressing force of a punch to form the outer ring 1b and inner column 3b, and a rotor base body B formed with a circumferential annular groove 2b at a radial outwardly extending communication surface is integrally formed. Then, an annular ring 4b made of non-magnetic material is fitted into the annular groove 2b, heated and then adhered therein. The outer ring part 1b is cut at its circumferential surface to form an outer ring 1, an axial hole 6 is made at a center of the inner column 3b to form an inner ring 3, the lining groove 5 is made, a dependent intermediate ring 4 is made by the non-magnetic ring 4b to complete the rotor.
