Abstract

PURPOSE:To both perform easy work of carriage, storage, etc. and miniaturize a device then facilitate handling work in a narrow place of manhole or the like, by dividing the long scale obect feed device in two parts of a mechanism main unit feeding out a long scale object and a motor part. CONSTITUTION:A long scale object feed device 1 is constituted by a feed mechanism main unit 2 of long scale object and a motor part 3. Then the motor part 3 is constituted by a motor box 4, used also for a mounting base of water-tight construction, motor 5, and spur gear 8 mounted to an output shaft 6 of said motor through an electromagnetic clutch 7. On the other hand, said main unit 2 is constituted by providing upper and lowe rotary memebers 11, 12 holding a long scale object 10 of cable or the like and coupled to said motor 5. The upper and lower rotary members 11, 12 are constituted by respectively providing upper and lower rotary shafts 13, 14 and upper and lower driven rotary shafts 15, 16 and mounting endless belts 21 respectively between sprockets 17-20, and the upper rotary member 11 is provided in a state of aproximating to and separating from the lower rotary member 12 by a slide mechanism S.
