Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce an integral furnishing continuously, automatically and at a high speed by a method wherein a filler is poured between face-side and back-side metallic sheets which are oppositely spaced from each other, then the filler is expanded to integrate the materials with a frame member constituting a peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:Flanges 13 each having a slanted part slantly bent toward the inside are formed at both lateral edges of two belt-shaped metallic sheets 2, 3 by roll working. After preheating the sheets, an adhesive tape 16 for sealing is adhered to the inside surface of each flange in such a manner that a part of the tape 16 protrude from the flange, then an expandable liquid is poured in and is expanded by heating to bond the materials integrally. The resulting assembly is cut to predetermined length to obtain main bodies of pannel-shaped funishing, and a frame member is fitted to the flange-side edge parts and the cut edge surface side edge parts of each main body, to mass-produce the furnishings.
