Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit checking of the true observation surface and defective points through removal of foreign matter with a brush in spite of the case when the foreign matter is stuck on the observing part by providing a brush to the leading end part. CONSTITUTION:A brush 14 is mounted on the outside circumference of a body 1 in the leading end part of an endscope for industrial purposes, and a lens 6 for observation and an illuminating window 7 are opened in said body. Said body is provided turnably around a connection part 11 by the operation of a handle 10 of the operating part. With such constitution, the endscope is inserted into a tube, the brush 14 is locaed on foreign matter 16 by the operation of the handle 10, the foreign matter 16 is stripped by moving the handle back and forth manually, and the part to be observed is observed through an eyepiece part 5. Since it is observed by removing the foreign matter with the brush 14 even if it is stuck in the tube, the true observation surface and the defective points such as flaws and crazing are checked.
