CONSTITUTION: A sensitizer curable by energy rays, comprising a silicone or a silicone composition of an organopolysiloxane[e.g., a compound shown by the formula II (R1 is -CO; n≥2)]having one or more siloxane units shown by the formulaI[R is -CO, alkoxy group or aryloxy group; P and Q are alkyl group, alkoxy group, hydroxyl group, (un)substituted amino group, halogen atom; a, b, and c are 0W2]in a molecule. This substance curable by energy rays containing the sensitizer is used as a coating compound, a coating agent for paper, cloth, printing ink, a printing material for lithography, a protecting material for semiconductor, etc.
