Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the muting operation start level arbitrarily in, matching with the voice level of a caller, by providing a muting control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an external signal source 18 such as radio cassette is connected to terminals 16, 17, the signal from it is applied to head phones 3, 4 for driver and fellow passenger via a muting circuit 13. In this state, when the driver or fellow passenger starts call, voice is applied to a muting control circuit 14. When this voice level reaches the set level, the muting circuit 13 starts operation under the control of the muting control cirlcuit 14 to mute the signal from the external signal source 18. Thus, only the call signal flows to the head phone 4 for the driver and fellow passenger.
