Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance ornamental effect of candles, by constructing a candle assembly by connecting the tops of a plurality of candlewicks with an igniting thread-like member.
CONSTITUTION: A support member 3 of a wire or plastics, shaped into a particular form such as a heart-like shape, is fixed to a large-sized ornamental candle 1, and many small candles 4 are fixed to holders of the support member 3. The wick top 2 of the large-sized candle 1 and the wick tops 2' of the small candles 4 are connected together by an igniting thread-like member 5 impregnated with a combustion-assisting agent like paraffin. With such an arrangement, when the wick 2 of the large candle 1 is lighted, small candles 4 are also lighted successively by the aid of the igniting thread-like member 5 and form a heart shape at last. By thus lighting many candles almost simultaneously, it is enabled to enhance both of formative and ornamental effects.
