Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the position of the crank position of every cylinder by a sensor which detects the rotation position of a multicylinder internal combustion engine, by performing different display of each cylinder, which corresponds to the prescribed position of each cylinder, on a rotary disk which couples with the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotary disk 9 which couples with a crank shaft has angle display member 10 on its circumferential edge at intervals of 1 deg., and is provided with signal display members 20-1-20-6 which indicate the prescribed positions of respective cylinders of an internal combustion engine. Those display members are read magnetically or optically to discriminate the state of each cylinder, thereby controlling the internal combustion engine.
