Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to an engine rotation signal detection device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in an electronically controlled engine that controls the injection for each cylinder, it is necessary to accurately determine the compression top dead center and the injection timing for each cylinder. For this reason, the circumference of a cam gear or flywheel that rotates in synchronization with the engine is required. A plurality of signal pulses are provided on the surface, and the pulses are detected as electric signals by a pickup. Specifically, in FIG. 5, for example, a large number of knock pin type signal pulses 2 are implanted at equal intervals on the peripheral surface of the flywheel 1, and the detector 3 is fixed to face them, as shown in FIG. Such an output diagram is obtained.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 7, when the peripheral speed v of the flywheel 1 is large, the output V of the detector is large and the waveform is large.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the engine is started at a very low temperature, the friction of the engine becomes large in the vicinity of the compression top dead center of the piston, so that the engine rotation becomes extremely low. As shown in section A, no signal can be detected, and therefore, there is a problem that the engine cannot be started.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an engine rotation signal detection device that prevents a change in output of a detector due to a decrease in engine rotation speed near a compression top dead center in order to improve startability.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, a circular hole for a signal pulse is provided on the peripheral surface of the rotating member that rotates in synchronization with the engine, the hole diameter is increased near the top dead center of the engine, and the peripheral surface of the rotating member faces the rotating member. An engine rotation signal detection device, comprising: a detector.
[0007]
[Action]
According to the engine rotation signal detecting device configured as described above, the peripheral speed at the compression top dead center of the engine becomes slow, but since the hole shape is large, the detector generates enough pulses. Therefore, the position of the top dead center can be reliably detected.
[0008]
【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Descriptions of the same or equivalent parts as those of the conventional parts are omitted and the same symbols are given.
[0009]
In FIG. 1, circular members 2 serving as signal pulses are formed at equal intervals in a rotating member which rotates in synchronization with an engine (not shown), for example, a flywheel 1 in the illustrated example. Furthermore, in the case of a six-cylinder engine, for example, six places are formed as large holes 2a in the holes 2 formed in the peripheral surface as shown in the figure. That is, if the diameter of the large circular hole 2a is D and the diameter of the other circular holes 2 is d, D> d. These large holes 2a are opposed to the detector 3 which is fixed at a fixed position when each piston is located at the top dead center. Six large holes 2a are located at equal intervals. Needless to say,
[0010]
Also, as shown in FIG. 2, it is clear that the larger the hole diameter d as a signal pulse, the larger the output V of the detector becomes, and as shown in FIG. It turns out that it is normal. In the above description, when the number of cylinders is 6, the number of large circular holes 2a is also 6. However, if the number of cylinders is n, the number of large circular holes is also n. A cam gear may be used as another example of the rotating member.
[0011]
FIG. 4 is a system configuration diagram of an engine embodying the present invention. The operation will be described with reference to FIG. Circular holes 2 serving as signal pulses are formed in the peripheral surface of the flywheel 1 of the engine E, and although not shown, large circular holes are arranged at equal intervals in the number of cylinders therein. Now, when the engine E rotates, the top dead center signal by the signal pulse 2 of the flywheel 1 is input to the control unit 5 via the detector 3. The control unit 5 is simultaneously provided with a water temperature signal from a water temperature sensor 7 provided on the cylinder head 6, a cylinder identification signal from a cylinder identification sensor 9 provided facing the fuel pump rotating shaft 8, and a backup sensor 11 provided on the electronic governor 10. And a rack control signal is output from the control unit 5 to move the rack to control the amount of fuel to be injected.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention is configured as described above, the peripheral speed decreases near the top dead center of the engine. Due to the large pore size, the detector will generate sufficient pulses. Therefore, the position of the top dead center can be reliably detected, and the startability is improved.
