Thus, the corrosion of external parts for a watch made of copper alloy such as German silver or brass plated with gold alloy, Pd or the like can be prevented even if the plating has defects such as pinholes and scratches due to handling because the inhibitor shows ≥1 kind of effect on the copper alloy surfaces selected from adsorption, oxide film formation and precipitate film formation. The inhibitor dissolves slowly in sweat and shows said effect.
