Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve acoustic characteristics of a speaker by obtaining a feedback signal used for motional feedback (MFB) from the piezoelectric element of a piezoelectric tweeter incorporated coaxially in a dynamic speaker as a speaker for high frequency range. CONSTITUTION:The voltage that a discoidal piezoelectric element 4 outputs in accordance with the vibration of a voice coil bobbin 1 is at most several-ten- odd% of an input voltage supplied to display the function of a speaker for high frequency range by using the piezoelectric element 4 as a vibration source. Therefore, when the input voltage for the speaker has flat frequency characteristics, the output voltage obtained in accordance with the vibration of the voice coil bobbin 1 is lower than the input voltage, so any detection signal is not picked up. For this purpose, a low-voltage cut filter 10 is inserted between the piezoelectric element 4 as the high-frequency-range speaker and an acoustic signal source 7 for the element 4 to cut a low-frequency-range input signal to the element 4, and only a low-frequency-range output signal obtained by the element 4 in accordance with the vibration of the voice coil bobbin 1 is outputted as the detection signal.
