Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect overloaded condition with a simple structure by actuating a switch when difference arises between the number of rotation of two pulleys installed to a driven shaft in fixed and free state and rotated through a belt by a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A pair of transmitting wheels 1, 1' are attached to a driving shaft 3, and the wheel 1 is fixed and another wheel 1' is allowed to slide and pressed by a spring 4. A transmitting pulley 5 for working part and a wheel 9 for detecting the load are attached to a driven shaft 7 in fixed and free states, respectively. These pulleys are connected by endless belts 11, 11'. When an overload is applied while the driving shaft 3 and driven shaft 7 are rotating, a slider 10 moves upward along the slope of a guide 8, and the wheel 9 moves upward against the force of a spring 12 to make a switch on and sound a buzzer. By this way, overloaded condition can be detected with a simple structure.
