Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the wasteful starting and stopping operations of a compressor motor in an air conditioner and to smoothly start the motor at necessary time by eliminating the responding operation of an output device even if a temperature detector hunts due to the disturbance, e.g., surge or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A timer unit 24 and a discharging circuit 39 are provided between a temperature detector 15 having a room temperature sensor 16, a room temperature setting variable resistor 17 and a comparator 23 and an output device 33 having a timer unit 34 which maintains an output terminal 342 at a low voltage until the prescribed period of time is elapsed when a high voltage is supplied within the prescribed period of time (2W3min) from when the high voltage of an input terminal 341 is eliminated. The timer unit 24 has a series circuit of a capacitor 26 and a resistor 25, and a comparator 32, and the discharging circuit 39 has a switching element 44 which controls the energization in accordance with air conditioning necessity of unnecessity signal of the detector 15. Thus, the output device 33 may not respond to the hunting signal even if the latter signal is delivered from the detector 15.
