Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a titled device before and after establishment of welding conditions easy to operate by connecting an operation box having welding start and stop switches and change and input means for various welding conditions by means of a cable to a control board and fitting the same removably. CONSTITUTION:A controller 10 of an arc welding robot using a teaching playback system by PTP controlling by which a welding torch is moved automatically from stored points to points successively is constituted of a control board 12 and a teaching box 14. In the adjusting stage of welding conditions, the operator removes an operation box 42 from the board 12, carries this in his hand, and operates an electric current regulating switch 38 and a voltage regulating switch 40 to optimum conditions near the work. After the establishment of the welding conditions, the operator fits the box 42 removably into the recess 44 of the board 12 and turns a welding start switch 34 on. Then, the welding work is accomplished automatically until the welding ends. If necessary, the operator stops the welding work by turning a welding stop switch 36 on.
