Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily supply high-pressure air by providing a cavity for supplying gas to a transport truck having plural small holes and a cavity for supplying air to the small holes, both cavities being coupled by a manifold to control supplied gas by a valve. CONSTITUTION:High-pressure compressed air is supplied to a transport truck 11 through a cavity 12, and passes through a manifold 23 and a valve 28 to be supplied to cavities 14, 14', 15, 15'. The flow rate of air controlled by orifice rings 30a-30d. The air in the cavities 14, 14' is ejected from a small hole 13 to a transport surface 11a to float an article 1. The air in the cavity 15 is ejected from an inclined hole 18a disposed on each side wall pipe 18, 18' to prevent contact of the article 1 with the side walls 18, 18'. In such a construction, high- pressure compressed air is easily supplied to an article having a large areal load, and the transport truck 11 can be easily extended.
