CONSTITUTION: A modified polyolefin prepared by compounding a carboxyl group- contg. polyolefin with a metal cpd. or a mixture of the modified polyolefin and an unmodified polyolefin is dispersed in a solvent miscible with the polyolefin or a mixture of the solvent and one immiscible with the polyolefin. A polyolefin prepared by the graftpolymn. of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid on a polyolefin, etc. is used as said carboxyl group-contg. polyolefin. 0.05W10pts.wt. metal cpd. is compounded with 100pts.wt. said carboxyl group-contg. polyolefin. In amt. of 0.05pts.wt. or less, it is impossible to obtain high adhesion and in amt. of 10pts.wt. or more, no enhancement in adhesion strength is observed.
