Abstract
PURPOSE: To discriminate not only the generation of the abnormality of an electric apparatus but also the kinds of the abnormality by detecting gas formed due to the generation of thermal and electrical abnormality while discriminating the components.
CONSTITUTION: An extractor for gas contg. in the oil applying Torricellian vacuum is connected to an oil-filled electric apparatus 6, such as a transformer, a reactor, etc., and a gas detector 2 consisting of a gas chromatography or various kinds of gas sensors is connected to the extractor 1. A computer 3 computing the amount of each component of inflammable gas and the values of CH4/H2, C2H4/C2H6 and CO2/ CO is mounted to the next, and data detected at the computer are divided into two sections and supplied to a component indicator 4 and an abnormal form indicator 5. Thus, an abnormality monitor device is constituted, the electric apparatus is judged as abnormality when the total amount of the inflammable gas is 1,500ppm or higher; also discharge is already being generated when CH4/H2 is smaller than 0.1, and the abnormality is decided to be in the heating only of insulating oil when 0.1≤CH4/H2≤1 is formed. It is further decided as the heating of an insulator when CH4/H2 is larger than 1, and these are displayed to the indicators 4, 5.
