Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to convert energy form by a method wherein water is electrolyzed in an electrolyzer, the resulting hydrogen and oxygen are transferred into an exploding part and ignited to generate heat. CONSTITUTION:A concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is supplied between an external tank 1 and an evaporation tank 3, and it is electrolyzed by passing a DC current by means of the electrolyzer 2 provided between the tanks 1, 3. Hydrogen and oxygen evolved at electrodes 7, 8 are accumulated into a liquefied- gas tank 9 through a liquefied-gas pipe, thereafter the hydrogen-oxygen mixture is fed to the explosion part 10 and is ignited by an ignition heater 11, resulting in an explosion. The explosion is repeated in a continuous manner, and a high temperature is obtained through the heat of explosion.
