Abstract
PURPOSE:An intestinal preparation of nutrition supplement that contains specific proteins, peptides and aminoacids in a specified proportion, thus permitting the intestinal administration with no diarrhea, especially helping the normalization of the plasma aminoacid balance in hepatopathy patients. CONSTITUTION:Nitrogen compounds having the composition shown in the table, on the weight basis of the total nitrogen compounds, are used as protein sources to give the intestinal preparation of nutrition supplement that is suitably used as a nutrition supplement or remedy for hepatopathy patients such as acute hepatitis. The resultant preparation is given orally or intestinally and digested and absorbed physiologically. Further, it can lower the osmotic pressure to avoid diarrhea. It also is palatable because the bitterness and unpleasant smells characteristic in aminoacids is lowered. Since the plasma aminoacid balance in hepatopathy patients is readily normalized, the objective nutrition improvement and curing effect are sufficiently and constantly developed.
