Abstract
PURPOSE:To faciliate secondary working of expansion and reduction of a clad tube on which a thin Al alloy film is closely stuck by meaking the outer face or inner face of a seamless Al tube rough and attaching a thin plate of Al alloy brazing filler metal to the outer face or inner face and extruding by hydrostatic pressure. CONSTITUTION:The outer face of a seamless Al tube formed by extrusion, drawing etc. is made rough by shot blasting, etc. After winding a thin plate 3 of Al alloy brazing filler metal such as Al-Si group on it,tube expanding is made by using a hydrostatic extrusion machine 4 consistin of a die 5, a mandrel 6 and a fluid pressurizing piston 7. Expanding work of the Al tube on which a thin layer of Al alloy is closely stuck can be made easily. Since the Al tube is a seamless tube, reducing work and bending work can also be made easily in the same menner as expanding work.
