Abstract

PURPOSE:To make mounting of a mounting pipe possible in any position of a manhole by providing a mounting means for the tank to the off-centered position of the bottom plate of a case containing a wire winding reel of a liquid level gauge. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid level gauge which connects the float on a liquid surface to pointers and indicates liquid level positions with the scale pointed by the pointers in accordance with the vertical movement thereof, a mounting means is provided to a separate body in the offcentered position of the bottom plate of a case containing a wire winding reel for said gauge. For example, a float 1 moving upward and downward in accordance with the vertical movement of a liquid level is connected to a liquid level display pointer 11 and a leakage inspecting pointer 13 by means of wires 5, 7, a torque spring 9 and gears 10, 12. These rotation transmission devices and the pointers 11, 13 are put in a case 18 made of a plastic and the case 18 is coupled to a bottom plate 20 by means of mounting screws 21. A mounting means 31 is provided to the off-centered position of the plate 20. Then, in spite of the case in which a mounting pipe 32 is located in the position near the inside wall surface of, for example, a manhole, mounting without the obstruction of the outer side face of the case 18 is made possible.
