Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously manufacture foam moldings with smoothly surfaced facial material with good productivity by a method in which an endless sheet material is provided between a coater and a tunnel molding machine for expandible synthetic resin, and raw material to be fed is compressed. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a lower facial material 2 are bent upwards by a folder 3 and an expandible synthetic resin liquid 5 is coated on the surface of the lower facial material 2 through a nozzle 4, and, the lower facial material 2 is fed. On the other hand, an upper facial material 7 is bent upwards at its both ends by the folder 3, fed, and laminated with the lower facial material by a metering roll 10. And, molding is performed in such a way that both ends of both the facial materials 2 and 7 are contacted. And, while pressing them under a pressure of about 3g/cm<2> or less by an endless sheet material 13, they are heated by a heater 12, fed into the tunnel 15 of a molding machine, expanded and hardened by a compressed hot air 16, drawn out by a roll 17, and cut off by a cutter 18 to obtain a foam molding with facial material.
