Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled adhesive that contains a powder of high-amylose corn starch, a general corn starch powder and a waxy corn starch powder, being, composed of high-temperature and high-concentration glue solution, thus having suitability for both rapid adhesion and slow adhesion.
CONSTITUTION: The objective adhesive is prepared by mixing 20W80wt% of a corn starch powder containing more than 50% amylose, or its processed powder, preferably the starch powder is oxidized, etherified or esterified to facilitate glue formation, 79W10% of general corn starch powder or its processed product, preferably the starch powder is crosslinked or etherified to change the viscosity and water retention of the resultant glue, and 1W10% of a waxy corn starch, further adding a filler such as bentonite or clay preferably.
EFFECT: It does not need to be heated, when applied, thus energy is saved.
USE: An adhesive for corrugated boards.
