Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out digestion treatment of org. sludge effectively by providing a digestion gas non-return means to a digestion gas supply pipe in a disgestion tank for carrying out the digestion treatment of the organic sludge to prevent the counter flow of the digestion gas in controlling pH.
CONSTITUTION: Sludge is supplied to the digestion tank 1 from a concentration tank through a sludge supply pipe 2. A part of the digestion gas generated in the digestion tank 1 is pressurized by a blower 3 and sent into the digestion tank 1 from an air diffusion port 5 through a change-over valve 4. The pH of the sludge in the digestion tank 1 is detected by a pH meter 8 and a valve drive apparatus 9 opens either one of change-over valves 4, 6 corresponding to the pH value of the sludge in the digestion tank 1. On the other hand, the residue of the digestion gas generated in the digestion tank 1 is supplied to a gas storage tank 13 through a operation valve 11 provided to the gas supply pipe 10 and a desulfurizing apparatus 12. Pressure P1 of a gas phase part in the digestion tank 1 is detected by a manometer 14 and pressure P2 of a storage tank side of the operation valve 11 by a manometer 15.
