PURPOSE:To decrease equivalent jamming currents by each making the commutation reactance of secondary split winding to Xa and Xb and bringing Xa/ (Xa+Xb) to 0.6-0.7 in the transformer for the phase controller splitting the secondary side. CONSTITUTION:Rectifying units 6, 7 consisting of thyrsitors 8 and diodes 9 are each connected to the seconday split winding 4, 5 of the transformer 1 composed of a core 2, primary winding 3 and the seconday split winding 4, 5, and the DC sides are connected in series and DC voltage ed is obtained. The equivalent jammping currents used as reference valuing the obstruction of communication can be decreased by increasing the commutation reactance of the seconday split winding, but a power-factor lowers when increasing the reactance of each seconday split winding. Accordingly, all reactance is made constant, the ratio is made 0.6-0.7, and the equivalent jamming currents are decreased.
